ColdFusion custom tag wrapper to display FLV, MP3, MP4 and AAC files using the JW FLV Player™ with one line of code. For example, <cf_mediaplayer file="myvideo.flv"></cf_mediaplayer>
The JW Player™ is the Internet's most popular and flexible media player. It supports playback of any format the Adobe Flash Player can handle (FLV, MP4, MP3, AAC, JPG, PNG and GIF). It also supports RTMP, HTTP, live streaming, various playlists formats, a wide range of settings and more.
For more information about the JW Player™, visit http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/
This tag supports many more options than CF9's newly added cfMediaPlayer tag. Please refer to the readme.htm file in the download for full attribute descriptions and examples.
Place the entire contents of cfMediaPlayer somewhere on your server. Create a custom tag path that points to this folder.
If the folder is stored above/outside of the webroot, then you will need to provide the virtual/alias directory name using the 'basdir' attribute when calling the tag.
2009.11.06 added new attributes: 'sharelink','sharecode' for viral functionality
2010.02.19 fixed a bug that occurred when not passing in 6-character hex values for the player's color settings.
2010.02.23 updated method to resolve path for installation on non-Windows machines.
Should work with ColdFusion 7+, Railo 3.0+. If you have tested this on OpenBD or an earlier version of ColdFusion, please let me know.
